Lots of jobs are won with a polite follow-up. This prompt writes two short texts you can send after a quote, with no pressure.

How to use it

1. Go to chatgpt.com (a free account works)
2. Copy the prompt below and paste it into the box that says "Message ChatGPT"
3. Change the words in [BRACKETS] and press Enter
4. Copy the first text and send it to your customer today
5. Send the second one a week later if you still haven't heard back

Copy this into ChatGPT

I sent a quote for [SERVICE] to [CUSTOMER FIRST NAME] [NUMBER] days ago and haven't heard back.
Write 2 short, friendly follow-up texts (one for now, one for a week later). No pressure. Under 40 words each.

Before you send

Always read what ChatGPT writes and change anything that isn't true or doesn't sound like you. Never send made-up prices, policies or promises.
